In Costa Rica, "Tica Linda" (literally "Beautiful Costa Rican Woman") primarily refers to a women-led coffee project and high-quality lot rather than a single physical farm open for traditional tourism.
"Tica Linda" is a specialty coffee lot that specifically highlights the work of women farmers in the world-renowned Tarrazú region.
The project aims to give women farmers—who often provide the majority of labor but have limited access to resources—better visibility, financial return, and recognition for their expertise.
It is processed at Beneficio San Diego, one of Costa Rica's most modern and sustainable mills, established in 1888.
