ADOUT FARM
Coffee in Ethiopia's Oromia region is primarily sourced from smallholder farmers rather than large, single farms. Most of these growers are part of the Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (OCFCU), which organizes over 400 cooperatives and represents more than 500,000 farmers across the region.
Coffee-growing areas in Oromia
Oromia accounts for roughly 65% of Ethiopia's total coffee production and is home to several distinct coffee-growing zones. Each area's unique microclimate and volcanic soil result in different flavor profiles.
