The Arusha region in northern Tanzania is located at the foot of Mount Meru. The plantations here are situated at altitudes of 1400–1800 meters in mineral-rich volcanic soils. Thanks to the cool mountain climate and abundant sunlight, the coffee cherries ripen slowly, forming dense and sweet beans. Local farmers unite in cooperatives to jointly invest in washing stations and improve the quality of their coffee.

The Kent variety—a natural mutation of Bourbon that is historically valued in Africa for its delicate acidity and fruity profile—grows on the Arusha plantations. For this lot, Natural processing was applied: ripe cherries are laid out on raised African beds and dried in the sun directly in their skin. During the drying process, the beans absorb the fruity esters of the mucilage, forming a deep profile with juicy berry acidity, a rich body, and a sweet aftertaste.
