ADOUT FARM

The Ruronzi processing station is located in Rwanda — a country known as the "Land of a Thousand Hills." This lot is unique because it cultivates the famous and most capricious coffee variety in the world — Geisha, which originates from Ethiopia and is renowned for its delicate, floral, and tea-like profile. Regional farmers carefully tend to the trees at an altitude of 1700–1900 meters, where fertile volcanic soil and cool air create ideal conditions for developing a complex flavor potential.

To fully unlock the delicate profile of the Geisha and add expressive fruitiness, the Ruronzi station uses a natural anaerobic process lasting 120 hours. The ripe cherries undergo strict hand-sorting to remove defects, and are then slowly dried on raised beds in the shade. During the drying process, the beans absorb the fruity esters of the mucilage, maintaining the clarity of the cup.
